Easier access to the internal widget

Team members no longer need a Tether account to report feedback from the internal widget. Our goal is to make it easy for anyone to report feedback, and requiring a sign-in inhibited that. Additionally, if team members want to view feedback from the internal widget, they can now request access directly from the widget itself. Sometimes it’s the small UX tweaks that go the longest way.

Button template for embedding Tether in external projects

We put together a button you can drop into your app that will trigger the Tether form to open. This is helpful for teams that want to use Tether, but do not want to have the feedback button present on the side of the screen. Now you can embed a pre-built component wherever you’d like in order to trigger the Tether widget.

Agency Directory

As many of you know, we are always willing to go the extra mile for our users. We are always looking for ways to help teams using Tether. That led us to launch the Tether Agency Directory.

I’m continually impressed with the quality of the agencies that we onboard and we want to help them better their business, aside from the value our software adds. That is why now we will be providing a directory for our agencies to be listed on (with a back-link) from our site. Being former agency owners, we get lots of requests for users and have already processed $10,000 of referrals for teams using Tether.

When you use Tether, you get a partner. If we can help, we will. We’ll even invent ways to drive value.  

The directory is only for agencies actively using Tether. If you’re an agency and you haven’t been contacted by us, reach out and we’ll get you up and running!

Bug fixes and enhancements

  • Fixed some spacing and scroll issues in the widget on larger mobile devices
  • Mobile widget height adjusts dynamically to fit browser nav-bars and keyboards
  • New event hooks for greater control over the Tether widget (see docs for more details)
  • Easily verify widget installation from project settings
